Leeds Conservatoire are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Library Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
The successful candidate will support the running of the library service at the first point of contact to all members of the library with routine, bibliographic and administrative tasks.
You will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to providing excellent customer service, knowledge of one of the conservatoire’s degree subject areas, and ideally experience of working in a library environment. An understanding of how libraries work, and knowledge and understanding of music resources in a variety of formats would be advantageous. You must possess two A levels and a formal qualification in music or significant experience in music/drama and be able to work well as part of a team and alone.
Working Hours
21hrs - Term-time (36 weeks):
Mon – 9am-1pm, Tue – 9am-1pm, Wed – 9am-1pm, Thu – 9am-2pm, Fri – 9am-1pm
14hrs – Vacation period (16 weeks):
Mon – 10am-12pm, Thu – Fri – 10am-1pm
