This is a full-time, reduced year role: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
The Conservatoire is seeking to recruit a Performing Arts Assistant to provide coordination and administrative support to the Acting, Actor Musician and Musical Theatre degrees.
This role supports the day to day delivery of the Performing Arts courses, and acting as a key point of contact for the academic teams within the Conservatoire and with external partners and venues. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of these intensive programmes, developing new processes and procedures as needed and communicating effectively with staff, students and guests.
The postholder will provide administrative and coordination support for a variety of activities including diary management, and coordination of activity relating to teaching and productions.
Candidates should have excellent organisational and communication skills, together with experience of working in a customer service environment and using Microsoft Office Applications for a variety of tasks. Experience of working in education and/or performing arts is desirable.
